We gather each Sunday as a local church to corporately worship God together.  We are contemporary in our musical style and we are always interested in meeting people who are musically gifted and have a heart for worship.  Additionally, if you are technically oriented, or if you consider yourself a geek, we have opportunities in the areas of sound and multimedia.

At Harvest we don’t limit our worship to simply singing a few songs each Sunday – we encourage a lifestyle and attitude of worship that goes beyond our Sunday morning experience.  We celebrate each week through the art of music as we respond to all that God has and continues to do for us – He is worthy of all our praise!  

Music:

Our style is contemporary and our approach is to faithfully allow the talents that God has given us to come through in the leading of our congregation musically.  Our Worship Teams are different each week because we schedule them based on their availability; we do not have pre-assigned teams. This provides our musicians more opportunities to spend time with other musicians and gives our congregation more variety each week.  You’ll see several instruments being used each week – piano, keyboards, electric guitar, bass, drums, percussion, flute, and more. We also have 3-5 vocalists teaching and leading us through songs each week.

Musicians who are interested will need to audition and interview for consideration with Pastor Brian. Sound techs and multimedia operators are usually introduced to the equipment "on the job" by shadowing an experienced volunteer.  We place a high importance on quality and we consider techs and computer operators to be a part of the team just like the musicians.  We look forward to meeting you and encourage you to let us know that you're interested.

Multimedia & Sound:

Our Multimedia Team is responsible for programming and operating the weekly slideshow in our worship center.  This includes lyrics for songs we sing, playing DVD and video files, assisting with slides for sermons, and so on.  This ministry is critical to the smooth implementation of our weekly worship services and provides a much-needed “visual” element to our contemporary worship experience each week.

Our Sound Team works diligently to allow our musicians to be heard each Sunday morning. They also provide necessary services to keep other ministry areas going throughout the building – such as 10-25 Place and Kingdom Kidz.  If it needs to be heard, our Sound Team is involved.  We are grateful for our geeks and techies who volunteer their time, talent, and especially their heart to serving our church in these capacities.
