We believe the best place for spiritual growth to occur is within intentional relationships.  The best place for encouraging intentional relationships is in the small group environment.  Therefore, at Harvest, our strategy to encourage spiritual growth is to help each person take the NEXT STEP relationally and spiritually.  The destination of these steps is the environment of a small group.  We have a variety of small groups, including Freedom In Christ, Heart & Home for Women, and more.  If you are interested in joining a small group, please read the following information and feel free to contact Pastor Brian anytime; we will work diligently to match you to a group that will help you take the next step.

The mission of Freedom in Christ Ministry is to assist the body of Christ to be alive, free, and complete in Him. This is accomplished through:

     - Realizing the power of your identity in Christ
     - Freeing yourself from the burdens of your past
     - Standing against the spiritual forces of this world
     - Winning the battle for your mind
     - Becoming the spiritual person God created you to be
     - Discovering the truth about God's view of you

Neil T. Anderson, who founded this ministry, realized after years of pastoral counseling and seminary teaching, that the above principles were essential in living a victorious life in Christ. 

The Freedom in Christ Ministry Team will meet individually or in a small group setting with those wanting to work through the books, Victory Over the Darkness and The Bondage Breaker.  We will be discussing the material read before class and learning to apply the biblical principles in our daily walk with Christ.  The books are available to purchase either from the office or from a Freedom in Christ leader.  These books are also available on video and are available to be checked out for those attending Harvest Church.  Other Freedom in Christ material, Setting Your Marriage Free and Overcoming Addictions, are also available one-on-one or in a group study.
