Discipleship:

Small Groups create a predictable environment that is well-suited for allowing us to grow deeper in our Christian faith. We have a variety of small groups and other discipleship opportunities at Harvest. All of our small group leaders are members of Harvest - this is very important due to the importance of shepherding people and making sure we are staying united and biblically sound in our teaching at Harvest. Being a small group leader is very rewarding. If you are a mature Christian with a desire to see others grow in their faith, you might want to consider being a small group leader. We're not looking for Bible scholars; shepherding is very much a matter of the heart. It's amazing to see how God can use you to help others if you're open to that happening.

The "win" for you as a small group leader is to see your group grow in the 3 Vitals:

1) Intimacy With God; 2) Community With Believers; and 3) Compassion for Non-believers

Our Small Group Leadership Team, along with our Small Group Pastor, will help equip you to lead your group. If you're a Harvest member and you are feeling led to be involved with discipleship through small group leadership, one-on-one discipleship, Freedom In Christ, etc.,  please contact Pastor Brian. We are currently talking with those who would be interested in leading a home-based small group OR teaching a short-term (6-8 week) small group to allow people to try a small group without having to commit for the long-term.  It's important for us to provide opportunities for new people and young Christians to grow spiritually in a small group environment.  Please contact Pastor Brian about serving in this area.
