Our Mission: Harvest strives to be used of God in helping people become fully- devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Why become a member? One of the main characteristics of a local church is that it’s made up of “believers.” At Harvest we want to be like-minded and united as a core group of believers in the teachings of the Bible. Membership is part of staying true to being a biblically-functioning local church. Being accepted as a member of Harvest is not related to your political views or what type of car you drive. It’s not about your salary or how much money you give to the church – it’s about professing your faith in the saving grace of Jesus Christ and sharing your story with us. As a member, you are accepted into the Harvest family based on your faith and desire to grow as a Christian. Members are given the opportunity to vote on the important matters of the church - we are accountable to each other, and we strive to keep the vision alive and moving forward as a fellowship of members. Certain leadership roles in the church require membership, too. It’s important that we stay true to the Word as we continue to grow and serve families in the Beaver Dam area. Membership classes... We offer membership classes periodically throughout the year. Attending our membership classes is a requirement for becoming a member, along with an interview with our Elders. You’ll learn about the history of our denomination, the Evangelical Free Church of America, and about Harvest. We’ll take time to help you understand our philosophy of ministry, let you get to know our pastors, and give you opportunities to ask questions. If you’re interested in joining us, please contact Pastor Scott.
