Please join us in supporting our missionaries as they use their passion and God-given gifts to spread the Gospel throughout the world. We have some helpful information about most of our missionaries and their families below. Take some time to read their bios, view some pics, and feel free to download a PDF for your refrigerator door and keep them in prayer. Some of our missionaries' particulars have not been mentioned as the location in which they serve could be compromised. If you have any questions regarding our missionaries, please contact the church office and they will get you in touch with a member of our Great Commission Team.

Karl Greeb & family

NTM logoMissionaries with New Tribes Mission are planting churches in almost 70 language groups throughout Papua New Guinea. Many of these churches are now reaching out beyond their borders with the Gospel. Karl and his family are working to establish relationships with people who represent one of the 70 language groups in Papua New Guinea. Karl is committed to presenting the Gospel and the complete story of the Bible in a way that the people of PNG are able to understand and teach others as they establish a local church in their region.

Karl and his family attended Harvest before being sent to the mission field. We are blessed to be their sending church and to support them as they establish a new local church among the Madak people of Papua New Guinea!

Art & Kyle Dick

Art and Kyle Dick are missionaries with Reach National of the EFCAThey work among Latinos in Homestead, Florida, doing evangelism and church planting. Art was a high school art teacher; and football, swimming, and girls softball coach for twenty-six years in Connecticut. They felt the Lord's calling and went to Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Art received his M.A.R. and Kyle finished her Bachelors. They've worked in a church plant in Miami that was planted by two missionary couples the EFCA brought there from the Congo, thirty miles south in Homestead among farm workers. They also spent a year in Guatemala. Art and Kyle believe that Hosea 10:12 defines their lives and their work, Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD.

Art and Kyle are presenting a check to colleagues at Open House Ministries where many teams from Harvest have worked during short-term mission projects. Harvest did a fundraiser (four-square tournament) in 2009 that helped support this ministry.

Our Vision
As part of the body of Christ, our vision is to see every young person in every people group in every nation have the opportunity to make an informed decision to be a follower of Jesus Christ and become a part of a local church.

Our Mission
YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ, and commitment to social involvement.

Bill & Karen Lerch

Bill serves the Church by filling a niche called Intentional Interim Pastor. When a church is between pastors, especially when the previous pastor's departure was less than pleasant, Bill works towards reconciliation and healing, establishing a godly leadership team, and solid Bible-based preaching from the pulpit. Bill seeks  to fill all the regular pastoral responsibilities, as well as help the church heal and find its next Senior Pastor. Together, Bill and Karen, seek to love the flock as its pastor and his wife, finding any way they can to communicate that love to them. There is supreme joy to see a church healed and joyously experiencing a Spirit-filled unity and a desire to embrace God's missional purpose for their fellowship. Bill and Karen generally leave the fellowship as their new Senior Pastor begins his ministry, thus achieving a continuity in pastoral leadership and service to the congregation.

Several years ago Bill held a pastoral position here at Harvest; as a "sending" church we are truly blessed to have people from our own fellowship extend themselves to serve in other communities.
