Harvest is structured to have the congregation lead through regular meetings which follow our By-laws. However, it is very difficult, if not impossible, for a large group to create and direct the myriad of activities necessary of our church to move forward. Therefore, we trust our appointed (elected) Elder Leadership Team (ELT) to lead our congregation. Presently, there are four men on the ELT, in addition to our Senior Pastor. These men are co-equals and work very hard at functioning as a healthy team. When one speaks, our intention is that we speak as a team.

The ELT is committed to empowering our leaders in their ministries as Leadership Team leaders. We do not direct the leadership teams; rather, we establish their ministry boundaries and then come alongside and coach the team leaders so that they are empowered to lead their teams. Click here to email the Elder Leadership Team.

Here's a list of Leadership Teams and a brief description of what they do. If you have any questions regarding these teams, or if you're interested in being involved with one, please contact our church office.

Buildings & Grounds Team oversees the maintenance of our facilities and grounds.  If we have a construction project or remodeling, they get it done.

Children's Ministry Leadership Team oversees and provides leadership for our Nursery and Kingdom Kidz.  They work with our Youth Pastor Scott Guhlke.

Connections Team is responsible for welcoming and following up with people who are new to Harvest; they work with a variety of ministries to make sure newcomers are welcomed and given the opportunity to connect with others in the church.

Deacons Team administers assistance from our benevolence fund, prepares our monthly communion celebration, and considers special transportation needs.

Elder Leadership Team provides overall leadership and shepherding for our church working directly with every ministry, including the staff.

Fellowship Leadership Team oversees the ministries that involve fellowship, including 10·25 Place and special mid-sized events that take place periodically.

Great Commission Team provides direction, education, and leadership in the area of Missions and Evangelism.

Small Group Leadership Team provides vision and leadership for our Small Groups Ministry as they work with Pastor Brian.

Stewardship Team works with a variety of ministries as they crunch the numbers for our annual budget and provide fiscal recommendations to our Elder Leadership Team.

Youth Ministry Leadership Team provides leadership for our Team 56, Middle School, and High School Youth Ministries.  They work with our Youth Pastor Scott Guhlke.
